A positive attitude truly wins the day! This sentiment is especially true when being a Customer Service Rep and Holly, our newest addition to HQ, reflects just that. With her dedication and ability to pick up new skills quickly — we truly can’t wait to see how she progresses in this role! Be sure to have a read of her interview below to find out more about her.

Tell us a little bit about your work experience so far?

My work experience has mainly involved working within customer service. Prior to Hello Molly, I worked at Sportsgirl, starting as a casual and working my way up to assistant manager as I hold a strong passion for customer service, especially within the fashion retail industry! However, through a fair few in-store working experiences, I was so excited to have landed my first opportunity to work within a beautiful fashion brand’s headquarters.

What is your favourite piece from Hello Molly?

I have absolutely fallen in love with the “Good Energy Maxi Dress in Coffee” The cut-out style is so flattering and colour-wise I adore anything neutral, it’s just so versatile!

What made you want to work for Hello Molly?

I have always been a follower of Hello Molly & loved the brand even as a young teen, having always admired the stylish, fashion-forward approach of the brand! After my past work experience, I had developed a strong interest in entering an e-commerce role and being able to see the work that is put in behind the scenes to create such a beautiful brand is so inspiring. The team is also very welcoming and friendly, which immediately made me feel so ecstatic to be a part of a passionate, thriving brand.

What is your favourite part of the role?

My favourite part of the role is definitely finding a range of different approaches to solving problems! Within customer service, I thoroughly enjoy ensuring that each customer has a positive buying experience that makes them want to buy again. I also adore the working environment and the lovely team, of course.

What tips do you have for someone wanting to land a job as a customer service representative?

If you are also passionate about assisting people with their needs and queries, enjoy problem-solving and find you are empathetic, I would definitely recommend getting yourself into a customer service role! I’d also say that it’s important to apply to brands/businesses that you are already interested in or familiar with, that way you’ll be enthused and knowledgeable, which absolutely helps in customer service. I also find customer service can often be a situational based role, each customer can bring an individual problem to solve, through those circumstances you learn new tactics along the way!
